Exploring the Wild: Snow Leopards! (6-10 w/adult)

Take a walk on the wild side and explore the Zoo's elusive snow leopards! Children and caregivers learn about snow leopards, help prepare animal treats and understand how keepers care for them each day. You'll even see some animals up close!

This ticket is for one child ages 6-10 and a caregiver. If you would like to add on one additional participant, you may do so during check out. (Add-on tickets are limited.)

What makes a bird a bird? What does a bird use it's beak for? Learn answers to these questions and more as you enjoy a light morning meal of "people food" along with child-focused activities incorporating movement, discovery, crafts, and both guided and free play opportunities. Celebrate Mothers' Day here at the zoo! On this day dedicated to moms, families will meet a variety of zoo animal moms and their babies. We'll make tasty morsels for some super animal moms and go on an animal moms scavenger hunt that concludes with meeting a special animal guest. We'll then make a special Mother's Day craft and enjoy a yummy treat.

Children and Teens
Central Park Zoo Children and Teen programs are designed to connect kids to nature. Programs feature animal encounters, exhibit visits, art activities, and more! They are also an excuse to have fun!

Junior Keepers: Penguins (Ages 10-13)

Roll up your sleeves and get ready to get messy! Junior Keepers will prepare a treat for our polar friends, go behind the scenes and see what it's like to be a penguin keeper.

Mid-Winter Camp (Grades Pre-K to 3rd grade)

Go for the gold! Campers will investigate Olympic caliber animal survival strategies around the world through hands-on activities, animal investigations, and animal encounters.

Junior Keepers: Animal Enrichment (Ages 7-10)

In the Mood Series: Woo at the Zoo (21+)
