CPZ Birthday Parties

Central Park Zoo Wild Birthday Bash (ages 3 & up)

Central Park Zoo Wild Birthday Bash 

Payment in full is required at the time of booking.

Maximum capacity is 35 total participants, inclusive of the party child and their family. Infants who are not yet walking do not count toward the total head count. Children 3 and under must be accompanied by an adult in a 1:1 ratio. Children 4 and older must be accompanied by adult in a 1:10 ratio. For an additional price, you may add on an extra 30 minutes of party time.

Zoo Peeps 1 Day (ages 2-5)

Join Zoo Peeps, a program designed just for our youngest Zoo guests.  This active program will get you and your Peep moving around the zoo and seeing animals up close. 

Each ticket is per person. Each child must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Please take note of the age range for this program prior to enrolling. Families with children older than 5 may enjoy the Family Zoo Mornings instead of Zoo Peeps

Lunar New Year - February 10, 2024
Celebrate the Lunar New Year at Central Park Zoo! During this guided Zoo experience, we'll celebrate our animals with wishes for good fortune as we ring in the Year of the Dragon.

Good morning to Zoo! During this sensory inclusive morning program, families will explore the Tisch Children's Zoo before opening, participate in playful, sensory-friendly animal-themed activities, and help our animals enjoy their breakfast. Registration includes child and caregiver admission to the Zoo all day long.

Zookeeping for Grownups (18+)

Do you wish your coworkers had whiskers? Always dreamed of penguin peers? Discover the ins and outs of Animal Care at the Central Park Zoo as you live out your childhood dream job! At Zookeeping for Grownups, participants will have hands-on, messy animal experiences at the Central Park Zoo. We will help Children's Zoo keepers with everyday chores, including cleanup, meal prep, and play time. We'll get up close and personal with small ambassador animals, too. Be prepared to get messy!

Daisies can now earn their Shapes in Nature Badge at the Zoo! Using the Zoo as our field site, we'll observe the natural world upclose, paying attention to patterns we notice, and create nature inspired art.

Eco Learner - March 9, 2024
Daisies, earn your Eco Learner badge by going on a nature trek in Central Park Zoo! Through games and challenges, you will discover the many ways you can take action to protect nature! During the trek through habitats at the Zoo, you'll make a few pit stops to meet some resident animals up close.
