CPZ Summer Camp
A zoo adventure awaits! Register your child for a week of summer camp at the Central Park Zoo where they'll get to see animals up close, explore zoo exhibits, have fun, and make new friends! It'll be their wildest camp experience ever! We bring all the fun of Zoo Camp with health and safety as a top priority.

Participants in this program will spend plenty of time outdoors during a range of weather conditions, including heat, humidity, and precipitation, as well as travel over uneven, natural surfaces. Accommodations may be available. Please contact us for more information.

Fur, Feathers, and Scales, Oh My!  
Is it furry, spikey, or scaley? Join us for a super sensory experience where we learn about animal textures!  Discover a variety of animals in this hands-on, interactive, 1-hour camp for toddlers and their caregivers. Up-close animal encounters, art experiences, hands-on investigations, and Zoo exploration are part of this week-long mini-camp for toddlers and their caregivers. 

One ticket covers one adult and one child. Campers must be 2-4 years old at the time of the program.

Zoo-opoly
How can you make sure animals have what they need to survive? Roll the dice and play zoo-opoly to find out! Campers will explore how scientists and engineers build habitats to protect wildlife in our zoos and around the world. Each day, campers will complete design challenges, overcome unexpected obstacles, and work together to rule the Zoo!  

One week per camper, but you can select a second week of another grade appropriate camp. Camper must be entering 2nd or 3rd grade in the fall of 2023.

ZooMazing Race
Across the globe, animals and humans share some extreme homes!  We’ll race around the world to visit these unique habitats and investigate wild interactions through clue investigation, hands-on activities, and up-close encounters. As we trek through the jungle and brave the freezing cold, we’ll discover how humans can help animals and learn from them, too!

Global Conservationists
Interested in a career in zookeeping or wildlife conservation? Put your skills to the test during this hands-on, interactive week exploring the role of zoos in the city and around the world. See what it takes to work in the field of conservation as we spend time getting up close to animals, meeting zookeepers, and learning about global conservation efforts and projects. 

One week per camper. Camper must be entering 7th, 8th, or 9th grade in the fall of 2023.

Celebrate your child's birthday with a unique party experience at the Central Park Zoo!

Payment in full is required at the time of booking.

There's no better place for a birthday party than the Zoo! Each birthday includes: 90 minutes of jam-packed fun, animal guests, a trip around the Zoo, and a dedicated conservation educator to make this an unforgettable birthday for your child.

*The listed price includes up to 35 party guests. For an additional price, you may add on an extra 30 minutes of time.

Maximum capacity of 35 people. Alcohol is strictly prohibited during the party program. Infants who are not yet walking do not count toward the total head count. Children 3 and under must be accompanied by an adult in a 1:1 ratio. Children 4 and older must be accompanied by an adult in a 1:10 ratio.

Join Zoo Peeps, a program designed just for 2-3 year olds. This active Caregiver & Me program will get you and your toddler moving around the Zoo and seeing animals up close.

This ticket is for one child age 2-3 years and a Caregiver. Additional siblings and adults are not permitted in order to maintain an appropriate and comfortable setting for the participants and caregiver.

The Central Park Zoo invites families of individuals with sensory processing needs to join us for this sensory-friendly morning at the Zoo! Explore our exhibits before the Zoo opens to watch some animals have their breakfast and participate in animal-themed activities.

FaBOOlous Zoo Morning - October 30, 2022
Good morning to Zoo! During this sensory inclusive morning program, families will explore the Tisch Children's Zoo before opening, participate in playful, sensory-friendly animal-themed activities, and help our animals enjoy their breakfast. Registration includes child and caregiver admission to the Zoo all day long and Halloween costumes are encouraged!

Join us for a fun filled Zoo camp full of hands-on activities, animal investigations, and animal encounters. At Animal Engineers Camp, we'll discover amazing feats of animal engineering and design our very own projects inspired by nature.
