This jam-packed birthday adventure will delight kids and adults alike with activities, a scavenger hunt in one of our most popular exhibits, and special animal guests. You and your guests will have a private party space for the duration of the event and a dedicated conservation educator to ensure an unforgettable experience!

Payment is required in full to book a birthday party at the Bronx Zoo. Cancellations made more than 4 weeks in advance will receive a full refund minus a $120 administrative fee. If you have questions, contact the Birthday Party Specialist prior to booking online at bzbirthdayparties@wcs.org.

Your morning just got wild with this special before-hours program! Your family will learn about snakes through fun and engaging activities. After an up-close animal encounter with a small animal ambassador, our educators will guide you to the World of Reptiles to watch as our snakes enjoy their exhibits and chat with a zookeeper that cares for them. This program includes walking outside. All paths are wheelchair and stroller accessible.

Otters: May 17, 2026
Your morning just got wild with this special before-hours program! Your family will learn about otters through fun and engaging activities. After an up-close animal encounter with a small animal ambassador, our educators will guide you to the Children's Zoo to watch as our river otters enjoy their exhibit and chat with a zookeeper that cares for them. 

All ages are welcome, but this is recommended for ages 3+. Tickets are per person, and children must be accompanied by an adult. This program includes walking outside. All paths are wheelchair and stroller accessible.

Learn about wildlife through play! Each day of this 4 part series, participants will meet an animal up close and explore the wild wonders of the world.

Looking for a creative and fun class for you and your little one? Explore animals throughout the seasons in our Wild Wonders program! You and your child will meet an animal up close, enjoy a guided tour of an exhibit, and engage in activities including games, art, and dramatic and sensory play!

This program includes walking outside. All paths are wheelchair and stroller accessible.

Tickets include one adult and one child. One additional adult ticket may be added on at time of purchase.

As a Zoo Explorer, you will investigate the many ways the zoo cares for animals in this educational drop off program.

Have you ever wondered how zookeepers take care of sea lions at the Bronx Zoo? In this program, you will get an up-close animal encounter with a small animal ambassador, learn about enrichment for our animals, and explore the skills needed to take care of our playful pinnipeds!

This is a drop off program for children ages 8-12 years old.

Earn a Bronx Zoo patch during this fun-filled day featuring special scout-only activities! Gather your Girl Scout or Cub Scout group for a fun, engaging day at the Zoo! Groups will have the opportunity to explore the Zoo with limited admission tickets, take an educational tour, create an art activity, and complete a scavenger hunt to win a small prize! All Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts will earn a Bronx Zoo patch.

This program will involve walking outside. Most pathways are wheelchair accessible.
